NAF S 125 / INNOVEX 125

NAF® S125 also known as INNOVEX® 125 is an electrically non-conductive media, it can therefore be used to protect electronic and delicate equipment. After discharge it does not require the clean-up of the protected enclosure, making it extremely useful in applications where damage by other extinguishing methods would be prohibitive. Its formulation includes a patented additive that reduces the levels of decomposition by-products normally generated by halocarbons during extinguishment and enhances extinguishing performance. NAF® S125 and INNOVEX® 125 are UL Listed.

Time Saving Tips

  • Exact dimensions of the space to be protected (height, length and width) to establish the volume of the enclosed hazard area.
  • Minimum and maximum temperatures within the protected space.
  • Exact location where the storage containers can be installed.
  • Whether or not the protected space is normally occupied.
  • Rundown time of generators, fans, etc., and the closing time for automatic louvers.
  • Size and location of any non-flammable, impermeable and non-removable objects, such as columns, beams or storage tanks, which materially reduce the volume of the space to be protected.
  • Size and location of all major equipment in the enclosure, such as machines, electrical equipment, cabinets or storage racks.
  • List of materials that will be used or stored within the protected space.
  • Size and location of all openings that cannot be closed.
  • Vent rate of any ventilation or air conditioning equipment that cannot be shut down.
  • If the space contains any pressurized air tanks, such as those to be found in ships engine rooms, their capacity and working pressure must be noted, since if they were to become damaged under fire conditions, additional volumes of free air would be released.
  • Minimum and maximum temperature of the area where the storage containers will be installed, if different from the protected space.
